String Student for a Day – Friday, October 11, 2024

REGISTER HERE for the  Friday, October 11th, 2024 String Student for a Day. This annual fall event is designed for high school junior and senior string players considering a music major in college, including those who play violin, viola, cello and double bass. Registration is limited. Check this page later this year for the event date and registration. To schedule an individual Student for a Day event contact MUSICADMISSIONS@ECU.ED.

Voice Student for a Day – Monday, October 14, 2024

REGISTER HERE. This event takes place on Monday, October 14th and is open to sopranos, altos, tenors, and basses. The day is designed for high school junior and senior prospective music majors and prospective graduate and transfer students. Registration for the spring session will be announced here soon. Registration is limited.

Piano Student for a Day – Saturday, November 2, 2024

REGISTER HERE. Come join the ECU piano faculty and students for a day of learning and enrichment! This event will include masterclasses, a workshop, and an evening concert. Open to students of all ages and registration is free.

Composition Student for a Day

Check this page later this year for the event date and registration. Attend if you are a high school junior or senior considering music composition as your college major. Guests will attend a theory class, meet composition professors and students during Composers’ Colloquium, eat lunch in Todd Dining Hall as our guests, meet with the applied professor for their area (as possible; instrument/voice) and observe a large-ensemble rehearsal.
