String Performance

ECU School of Music string students have many excellent performance opportunities.

Opportunities for classical students include the ECU Symphony Orchestra and numerous chamber ensembles. In addition, the ECU-based, nationally renowned Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival offers mentoring and master classes from world-class classical string performers.

For jazz bass and jazz guitar, there are multiple jazz ensembles and combos, and the Billy Taylor Jazz Festival.

For classical guitar, ECU offers solo and ensemble performances, and the ECU Summer Guitar Festival.

Student performances feature in-person audiences and streaming.
