MM, Collaborative Piano

About the Program

Through rigorous academics and an abundance of collaborative opportunities, the Music, MM collaborative piano concentration equips pianists to meet the demands of a collaborative career. In addition to instruction in accompanying students may enroll in electives such as vocal pedagogy, diction and vocal and instrumental repertoire, and study harpsichord and organ with members of the keyboard faculty. Students accompany large vocal ensembles and opera productions, collaborate with other students in chamber music and student recitals, and participate in master classes with a wide array of distinguished guest artists.
