Practical Vocal Pedagogy Summer Workshop

The ECU Practical Vocal Pedagogy Summer Workshop is an on-site workshop for the voice teacher or choral conductor with interest in gaining practical information and applicable skills that directly relate to working with singers.
Whether in a classroom, a choral rehearsal space, or a one-on-one studio environment, this workshop offers concrete information grounded in voice science and presented through PRACTICAL tools, techniques, and demonstrations that can be integrated into any vocal environment.
- Gain a more complete understanding of the instrument
- Expand diagnostic skills (for the ensemble and one-on-one environment)
- Explore tools for addressing intonation, vowel modification, resonance, registration, breath and body connection
You are not at the mercy of the ‘talent’ level of the singers in front of you.
Build responsible singers with reliable skills they can own, grow, and use to communicate authentically.
There is no cost for this workshop.
