D.M., Florida State University; M.M., Southern Methodist University; B.M., University of Georgia. Recitalist throughout Europe and the Americas. Recitals at major festivals here and abroad including the Guitar Foundation of America, the Mediterranean Guitar Festival in Italy, the Sea and Guitars Festival in Croatia, along with appearances at festivals in Canada, the Dominican Republic, Colombia and Costa Rica. Regularly featured at guitar festivals across the US including Great Guitarists at Stetson, Appalachian Guitar Fest, Columbus State Guitar Symposium, Utah Guitar Festival and the ECU Summer Guitar Festival. Guest soloist with The North Carolina Symphony and the MacLean Orchestra. Holds a top prize from International Guitar Competition de la Casa de EspaƱa, San Juan, Puerto Rico. Guitar studies with Robert Guthrie, Bruce Holzman, Pepe Romero and in Spain with Jose Tomas. Together with flutist Christine Gustafson, Frank has formed the Duo St. Caecilia with performances in Washington DC, and Vienna, Austria. He is also a founding member of the North Carolina Guitar Quartet and performs regularly with them.
